I grew up in East Texas and as a teen felt called by God into ministry; it took me a while but I finally submitted to that call, attending John Brown University and studying youth ministry.
The way I make disciples is by washing feet. I serve by building biblical community among young people and empowering them to live as children of Light (Ephesians 5:8-17). We walk with parents in helping them to follow God’s plan in parenting and discipleship. We want students to “know the truth, live the truth, and teach the truth.” Relationships are paramount in this ministry, and our volunteers, staff, and parents all know the value of pouring into the next generation (Psalm 76:8).
I like the Memphis Grizzlies, family time, our dog, competition, preaching, Scripture, basketball, adventure, and games (especially with students). Leading and serving at Brookwood since 2015 has been such a gift!
