    Renovate

Thank you for committing to, praying for, and bringing your offerings for Renovate. The Lord is truly blessing Brookwood through your generosity. So far, almost 425 families have given over 268,000 of our $600,000 goal and 458 families have committed to pray for Renovate.

Hopefully you are aware that our preschoolers have said “I Can Help, Too” by filling small paint cans. Although their emphasis ended April 5, cans continue to be turned in each week by excited preschoolers. Many parents have expressed their joy as they have shared how their child personally collected the pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, & bills to fill their can.

    Chick-fil-A Student Spirit Night

Eat at Chick-fil-A on Youree Drive tonight, April 30, 5pm-8pm, to support and raise money for the Brookwood Student Ministry. Simply tell the cashier you are with Brookwood Baptist Church and we will receive 15% of the sale.

    Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport

Make a difference in our community through the Paint Your Heart Out event on Saturday, May 16. This event is designed to provide painting and to make minor exterior repairs to the homes of low-income elderly, and/or disabled citizens within the city limits of Shreveport. If you would like to participate with a group from Brookwood contact Nancy Shelton at 218-3486 for more information.

    Linwood Food Bank

This ministry provides food to families in our community who have a temporary need due to unemployment, medical circumstances, homelessness, etc. Some items needed include: instant potatoes, dried beans, biscuit mix, cooking oil, fruit juice, peanut butter, and cereal. Visit the Information Center for a complete list of needed items or to drop off a donation.
