    Renovate: Second Bring Weekend

Several months ago you began to hear about “renovate” – the plans we have to renovate our facilities to help us better accomplish our mission to guide everyone we meet to a life centered in Christ. You’ve heard the plans to renovate Room 321 for our kids, the gathering area for enhancing community and relationships, and the worship center technology for strengthening and expanding worship. For the last couple of months, we’ve asked you to pray, commit, bring, and live.

So far we have received 421 pledges committing $434,316.89 toward our $600,000 goal. Since March 1, we have received almost $175,000, with the balance to be received by May 31. This weekend is the second Bring weekend for your Renovate offering. You can Bring an offering even if you didn’t pledge. You can Bring an offering any time other than this weekend. You can also use our website to Bring your offering.

    Chick-fil-A Student Spirit Night

Eat at Chick-fil-A on Youree Drive on Thursday, April 30, 5pm-8pm, to support and raise money for the Brookwood Student Ministry. Simply tell the cashier you are with Brookwood Baptist Church and we will receive 15% of the sale.

    Resource Collection for Homeless

Brookwood Student Ministry high school students need your help in collecting resources for their monthly event in downtown Shreveport working with the homeless. They will be collecting the following items: plastic store bags, mens & womens pants, and non perishable food with pop-top lids only. They will be collecting these items until Tuesday, May 12. Drop your donations off at the Information Center.

    First Contact Team

Sign up at the Information Center or call the church office to be on a great team of friendly folks who call and welcome first time guests to Brookwood. We are looking for people from each worship service.
