The Last Supper and Easter Services
Join us for the Last Supper Service on Thursday, April 9, 6:30pm in the Worship Center.
Experience the Lord’s Supper as you reflect on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
Childcare not provided. Also, if you normally attend the 10:45 worship service please consider
attending the 5:30 service on Saturday this weekend. We want to ensure we have adequate space
for the families in our community that may want to visit Brookwood this Easter Sunday.

Spring Cleaning Drive
Brookwood will be collecting the following donations for the Shreveport Bossier Rescue
Mission over the next few weeks: clothes (even second-hand undergarments are needed),
toys, books, magazines, movies, household and craft items. Visit the Information
Center for a full list of items needed. You may drop your donations in SBRM barrels which will
be located throughout the church. These items will be used by the residents or sold in their
Thrift Store. The store helps provide 20% of the SBRM operating income, and also provides a
training ground for the residents to learn job skills and work ethic. Nothing will be wasted;
what can’t be sold or used here is bundled and shipped to 3rd world countries. The coordinator
said, “Don’t throw anything away; throw it our way!” If you have a large item like furniture
or an appliance to donate, call 621-9614 to arrange for pick-up. Start your spring cleaning now!
Collection deadline is Wednesday, April 22.

Linwood Food Bank
The food bank helps provide for people in our community who are in need. Items needed are:
biscuit mix, canned fruit, canned meats, canned or dry milk, cereal, conditioner, cooking oil,
crackers, fruit juice, dried beans, grits, ketchup, instant potatoes, mac & cheese, razors, salt
& pepper, shampoo, spaghetti, sugar, tomato sauce, oatmeal, shave cream, toothpaste, Vienna sausages.
Turn in donations at the Information Center.
