Renovate: This Weekend
After more than a year of study by the staff, trustees, and building committee, the building committee
requests your prayer as we consider renovations necessary to update our existing facilities to meet the
ministry programming needs of our kids' ministry, worship ministry and gathering areas. The Committee
will bring its thoughts on the possibilities to the church during the services this weekend, January 17-18,
to be followed by a series of conferences for small group discussion and feedback in the following weeks.

LifeLink
We will not have the LifeLink scheduled for January 25 due to the “renovate” conference
scheduled that afternoon. Within the next week, individuals looking for a LifeGroup will
be able to search online for a group that would be appropriate for them. If you are looking
for a group and need more help than the online search, please contact our LifeGroup office
for assistance (861-8911, ext 0).

Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University is a 13-week, video-based small group study that teaches families how to beat debt,
build wealth, and give like never before. For more information about the study or to sign up, attend the
free preview session on February 4, at 6:30pm in Room 213. The preview is free, but we would like
for you to sign-up here so we have enough seating and can be prepared to take care of your children.
Classes will begin Wednesday, February 18, 6:15pm and will meet weekly. Cost is $99 per family.

Saturday Service Needs
We are in need of volunteers in several areas on Saturday nights - the Information Center, the Coffee Ministry,
and the Kids Ministry. If you aren't already serving at Brookwood, please consider giving your time in one of these
areas. For more information on the Information Center and Coffee Ministry, please contact

Open Position
Brookwood has an opening for a full-time Ministry Assistant (secretary). Experience with MS Word and Excel is
necessary. We prefer experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and accounts payable. Information packets with applications
are available at the Information Center or in the church office.
