Open Position
Brookwood has an opening for a full-time Ministry Assistant (secretary). Experience with MS Word and Excel
is necessary. We prefer experience with Photoshop, InDesign, and accounts payable. Information packets with
applications are available at the Information Center or in the church office.

2009 Budget
The printed proposed 2009 budget of $3,143,650.00 was amended in the Budget Discussion, Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
The Debt Retirement item was increased by $50,000 due to recent developments with our facility loan. This brings the
recommended proposed budget to $3,193,650.00. This is an increase of 8.48% over the 2008 budget. Through November,
our 2008 receipts are 14.9% ahead of 2007. We will vote on this amended proposed budget without discussion in our
worship services this weekend.

Angels Among Us
Bless a child and their family this Christmas through Angels Among Us. Visit the table in the Gathering Area
to pick up tags with local children’s requests for Christmas gifts. Each tag lists information about a needy
child in our area. Many of the children are from our Mission Church—Gospel Light.
