Circle of Honor: Through the Years...A Legacy of Faith
Join us to honor the senior adult women at Brookwood on Thursday, August 28, 6:30pm. These women have
led the way for our younger generation leaving us a wonderful legacy of faith to follow. This dinner is
a way to bridge the gap between our two generations and build new relationships with our sisters in Christ.

Challenge Week '08
We had a great Challenge Week studying what Eikon meant in our lives. We averaged about 160 students each
night and around 50 adults, so we had a blast! Our highest total was 170 students on Wednesday night. The
total registration for students was 199. Brian Richards led us in discovering the image that God has intended
for us, and Avarus Found totally dominated in leading us in worship.

Case for Christ Series for Kids
Through this series kids will learn about standing up for their faith in an unbelieving world.
Kevin and Cheryl Parker, Rosalyn Milliken, and Bruce Hennigan will lead the sessions. Fourth and
fifth graders only with 10 kids per session. Cost is $30. Sessions will take place in the Zone from 4:00pm-6:30pm.
Session I: Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2 - Payment due Aug. 31
Session II: Dec. 7, Jan. 4, Feb. 1 - Payment due Nov. 30
Session III: Mar. 1, Apr. 5, May 3 - Payment due Feb. 28

Get Connected
LifeGroups (small groups) are the lifeblood of Brookwood. As the church grows larger, we must continue to grow
smaller through LifeGroups. Brookwood's LifeGroups are primarily grouped based on gender and marital status.
These adult small groups create opportunities for adults to:
- participate in personalized Bible study
- connect with adults like themselves
- be cared for and care for others
- invite their friends to Bible study
Most of Brookwood's LifeGroups meet in homes in the community during the week. Some groups for Senior Adults
meet on Sunday morning at 8:00am and 10:45am. These groups go to worship at 9:15am.
