Mission New Orleans
We made it back from Mission New Orleans and what a week we had. We traveled down to New Orleans with 50 students
and adults to do Vacation Bible School and Backyard Block Parties for Rachel Sims Baptist Mission the week of
June 8 - 14. We have been traveling there for the past seven years to assist Larry Miguez and Linda Middlebrook
both NAMB missionaries that have served at RSBM for the past 28 years.

Singles Cookout Fellowship
All singles and their children are invited to a cookout fellowship on Sunday, June 22, 3-6 p.m., at the home of Kassi
Fitzgerald. Come enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs, and bring a side dish to share. Play badminton, volleyball, croquet, and
table games while the children swim. Sign up and pick up directions at the Information Center or contact
Donny Lee.

VBS Power Lab: July 14-18
Give your children a new enthusiasm for God's Word-and for Jesus! As you engage kids with fun,
science-themed surprises, you'll see amazing things happen. The delighted smiles...the memorable
Bible points...they all add up to making a life-long difference in the lives of your children!
VBS is for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade.

Alternative Worship Time For Volunteers
Do you miss our contemporary worship service because you serve? Would you consider serving during our contemporary worship
services, but don't want to miss worship? We might have a solution for you. On June 22, we are going to have a worship
service for volunteers at 9:15am in Room 321. Spencer Keller will be leading worship with an acoustic contemporary feel with
a special message to follow. We plan to have another service like this in July and possibly make it a weekly occurrence this fall.

Get Connected
LifeGroups (small groups) are the lifeblood of Brookwood. As the church grows larger, we must continue to grow
smaller through LifeGroups. Brookwood's LifeGroups are primarily grouped based on gender and marital status.
These adult small groups create opportunities for adults to:
- participate in personalized Bible study
- connect with adults like themselves
- be cared for and care for others
- invite their friends to Bible study
Most of Brookwood's LifeGroups meet in homes in the community during the week. Some groups for Senior Adults
meet on Sunday morning at 8:00a.m. and 10:45a.m. These groups go to worship at 9:15am.
