This past weekend you gave $7,025 to help support Tom and Kathy McManus, missionaries in Pemborke, West Wales. Thank you for your help

Alternative Worship Time For Volunteers
Do you miss our contemporary worship service because you serve? Would you consider serving during our contemporary worship
services, but don't want to miss worship? We might have a solution for you. On June 22, we are going to have a worship
service for volunteers at 9:15am in Room 321. Spencer Keller will be leading worship with an acoustic contemporary feel with
a special message to follow. We plan to have another service like this in July and possibly make it a weekly occurrence this fall.

VBS Power Lab: July 14-18

science-themed surprises, you'll see amazing things happen. The delighted smiles...the memorable
Bible points...they all add up to making a life-long difference in the lives of your children!
VBS is for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade.

LifeGroup Stories: Nate & Joyel Halley
The following is an excerpt from an email we received from a Brookwood member on May 13, 2008.
"My husband and I moved from San Antonio to Shreveport/Bossier last August. We visited many churches and by October
had decided to call Brookwood home. We loved Brookwood from the very beginning. The music was wonderful,
the people were kind and warm, and the messages were used by God in our lives. After attending
DiscoverPoint 101, we knew that
Brookwood was where God wanted us. We immediately began looking for a LifeGroup to join."
Get Connected
LifeGroups (small groups) are the lifeblood of Brookwood. As the church grows larger, we must continue to grow
smaller through LifeGroups. Brookwood's LifeGroups are primarily grouped based on gender and marital status.
These adult small groups create opportunities for adults to:
- participate in personalized Bible study
- connect with adults like themselves
- be cared for and care for others
- invite their friends to Bible study
Most of Brookwood's LifeGroups meet in homes in the community during the week. Some groups for Senior Adults
meet on Sunday morning at 8:00a.m. and 10:45a.m. These groups go to worship at 9:15am.
