VBS Power Lab: July 14-18
Give your children a new enthusiasm for God's Word-and for Jesus! As you engage kids with fun,
science-themed surprises, you'll see amazing things happen. The delighted smiles...the memorable
Bible points...they all add up to making a life-long difference in the lives of your children!
VBS is for children entering kindergarten through 5th grade.

From Our Pastor
For a change, I wasn't "the pastor" or "Bro. Mark." I was simply a member of Brookwood who lost
a parent, and I was grieving. The night before the funeral, during Family Visitation, Donna and
I, along with the rest of my family, stood for two hours shaking hands, giving and receiving
hugs, laughing and crying with a never-ending stream of friends from Brookwood whom I've known
now for nearly 20 years.

LifeGroup Leaders' Super Huddle
Our first LifeGroup Leaders' Super Huddle will take place at 6:15 pm, Wednesday, June 11, in the Tank.
This will be a time of food, fellowship, sharing both our successes and struggles, and encouragement for
you as a LifeGroup Leader. We'll get to know each other a little better, have time for round table discussion,
and sharpen our skills as LifeGroup Leaders.
Please make every effort to be in attendance, and please
RSVP no later than Sunday, June 8th.

Is your group looking for resources or study materials? If so, check out the
LifeGroup Resources we now have listed on
our website. There are several different studies listed with descriptions that you can browse through to decide
which may be right for your group. To request a resource for your group simply click the "Request Resource" button
listed by the resource.

Get Connected
LifeGroups (small groups) are the lifeblood of Brookwood. As the church grows larger, we must continue to grow
smaller through LifeGroups. Brookwood's LifeGroups are primarily grouped based on gender and marital status.
These adult small groups create opportunities for adults to:
- participate in personalized Bible study
- connect with adults like themselves
- be cared for and care for others
- invite their friends to Bible study
Most of Brookwood's LifeGroups meet in homes in the community during the week. Some groups for Senior Adults
meet on Sunday morning at 8:00a.m. and 10:45a.m. These groups go to worship at 9:15am.
