LifeGroups

alt
LifeGroups are small clusters of adults who meet throughout the community every week to study the Bible, serve, and live life together.

As our church has grown larger, we’ve realized how difficult it can be to truly connect with other people. As a result, we’ve fashioned LifeGroups to be tiny intentional communities within Brookwood where individuals and families can actually come together and be known. Ultimately, LifeGroups are the best way to get to know people and become a part of what God is doing at Brookwood.

Where do LifeGroups meet?
The vast majority of LifeGroups meet in homes throughout Shreveport, Bossier, Stonewall, Keithville, and so on. We also have senior adult groups who meet at our church campus on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.
What do LifeGroups do?
On a typical week, LifeGroups meet together for a time of fellowship (which may include dinner or snacks), Bible-study, and prayer. LifeGroup Bible-study is primarily discussion-based, and many of our groups follow a weekly sermon-based curriculum that is provided by Brookwood. In addition, groups will periodically take on service projects that give them the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our church and community.
How do I become a part of a LifeGroup?
Becoming a part of a LifeGroup begins through StartingPoint and Community Groups.
